Goofy Ball and Racist Call Lead to Turkeys' Fall

Tuesday night's game started off on a bad foot when the refs decided to use an orange and white Harlem Globetrotters-inspired ball. It only got worse when the Turkeys shot about 20% from the field in the first half, with the score at 18-12.

The second half started off with Cargill making two consecutive three pointers. Then things got ugly. The Turkeys couldn't put together anything offensively and the deficit expanded. Then, the refs called a technical foul on Drew (the only black guy involved in the game) for having his shorts too low. THAT'S RACIST!



The game ended in a blowout, with the Turkeys only scoring 20 points in the game. It certainly didn't help that we were missing three players, had only two subs, and half the team on the court was either sick or sore.

Now that we got that ugly loss out of our system, we should be built for the stretch run.
